I love shopping here! Very clean and well stocked!

3 stars for good place to get household supplies at better prices than most stores, pleasant cashiers and i always had good customer service. 2 stars down for the long lines, lacking cashiers and expiring product when it comes to food. Like other discount stores, food is dirt cheap because the product is expiring. This was one of the few things I liked about the danbury area. There are a few in the new haven area but its at least 20 mins away.

As Frank Barone, from 'Everybody Loves Raymond' would say, "HOLY CRAP!" This was my first time in an Ocean State Job Lot. I made it a point to just check it out today. Wasn't looking for anything in particular. Wow! They've got an eclectic assortment of everything. I've learned NOT to bring my purse with me, when I go into a store for the first time because I tend to get overwhelmed + go on a buying frenzy. Good thing I left my bag behind! Now that I've got a feel for some of the goodies to be had at OSJL...I'LL BE BACK ARMED WITH MY POCKETBOOK!
